Cleanliness was satisfactory .

I was deeply disappointed by the overall condition of the hotel. The bathroom was unclean, and we had to deal with broken essentials in our room. Staff responsiveness was lacking.

The hotel was in a quiet location so close to Whippany, and Princeton/New York City or Bear Mountain State Park. The room brand-new and impeccably clean and the beds were great. The staff were really helpful and took care of me. Actually everything was good, my next choice again in Whippany❤😃

the setting was marvellous, just off princeton/new york city or bear mountain state park, to cultural landmarks, and nice whippany. it also was near the train station.

Nothing! The service was horrendous! The staff has no professionalisim in them at all. They had no idea what was going on there. Someone even tried kicking us out of our room before bothering to check how many nights we have booked that dump for!! They were so unaccomodating, & the service was terrible! We booked it because we now own a pet & he can not be left alone. But if this was the last hotel ever to except pets I would just stay home, get the idea of how bad it was ?

Everything! As I had just stated up above! The towels were like they have not been changed in over 42 years! The House keeping just keeps banging at your door even after being asked to come back in an hour. Now, it really may not be their fault- but only the fault of the hotel, for hiring staff that dont even have the basic english to be able to comminicate with the guests!! I would never recommend this hotel to my enemy!

On the surface, the room looked clean although it smelled terrible and there were burn holes in the sheets.

The non smoking room smelled like wet dog and cigarettes. I believe it is used as an efficiency residence. Upon arrival I ran into a woman walking down the hallway with a beer, lit cigarette and 110 pound dog.

Can just recommend for a temporary stay

Comfortable room, friendly staff, coupled with a pet-friendly policy made our two-night stay enjoyable, and we appreciated the convenient access to local parks that enriched our family outing.

No coffe in rooms and alathough posted could not get coffee in the lobby untill six thirty in the morning. Had to leave earlier. Would be nice if they had it one place or the other.

Awful place. A site inspection would be a good idea. Although I was not expecting a 5-star hotel for $69/night, the place was flithy dirty.

The red carpet inn was in a convenient spot, close to local parks and attractions. We appreciated the various recreational opportunities the hotel offered.
